Escaping the Fairy Tale Homeschool Class

Service Description

This nine-week class takes tweens and teens (Grades 6-12) through the structure of fairy tales and the study of archetypes in literature and movies. As they learn about these literary concepts, they will also be collaborating with others to create a short fairy tale into an Escape Room In-A-Box. They will use what they have learned about fairy tales and archetypes and develop and design escape room-style puzzles to teach others about what they have learned. At the end of the class, each student will take home an Escape Room In-A-Box they can moderate for their friends and family! Each box will have a unique storyline (i.e., the fairy tale they write), one locked chest, a UV light, and escape room-style puzzles and clues. The class will be on Fridays (September 8-November 3), from 9:30-11:30 AM.
